Dr. Robert Lemke

Dr. Robert Lemke

Dr. Lemke is a native of San Antonio and a distinguished board certified maxillofacial and oral surgeon. He holds degrees from Trinity University and the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, where he earned both his dental and medical degrees. Dr. Lemke completed his rigorous residency training in Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Surgery at the same institution.

With his unique combination of MD and DDS degrees, Dr. Lemke is exceptionally equipped to offer exceptional care to all his patients. His commitment to advancing the field is evident through his numerous publications in prestigious academic journals, authorship of 13 scientific abstracts on facial surgery, and contributions to two authoritative books.

Dr. Lemke is not only a dedicated practitioner but also a respected educator, having delivered national lectures on a range of topics, including craniofacial reconstruction, facial cosmetic surgery, facial trauma, and the innovative 'Teeth-in-a-Day' procedure for full-arch reconstruction.

Beyond his professional life, Dr. Lemke finds joy in spending quality time with his family and pursuing his passion for cycling and running. He also expresses his creative side as a published photographer, capturing the beauty of both local landscapes and exotic travel destinations.


Dr. Oshmi Dutta 

Dr. Oshmi Dutta is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist based in the Stone Oak area of San Antonio. Known for his passion for integrating innovative technology to enhance the patient and parent experience, Dr. Dutta brings a global perspective to his practice. Originally from India and raised in Dubai, UAE, he attended Mayo College in India and completed his initial dental training at the Institute for Dental Sciences, Belgaum. He later earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Dr. Dutta is deeply committed to supporting organized dentistry, as well as mentoring fellow dentists and dental students. He serves as the President of the San Antonio District Dental Society and is a Vice President on the Texas Dental Association Board of Directors.

Dr. Rachel Lowery

Dr. Lowery grew up in a military family, living in different parts of the country before spending most of her adolescence in North Carolina. She earned a BS in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and went on to work as a Registered Dental Assistant in both general dentistry and orthodontics, where she discovered her passion for the field. She later earned her DDS at UT Health Science Center San Antonio.

For seven years, Dr. Lowery practiced general dentistry in a variety of settings—including Medicaid offices, private practice, and a local DSO—but felt something was missing. Driven by her interest in orthodontics, she completed a one-year fellowship followed by a two-year residency at Jacksonville University in Florida, where she earned her Master of Science in Dentistry.

She is now an Associate Orthodontist at 7to7 Dental & Orthodontics, returning to the same practice where she had worked as a general dentist for five years prior to her residency.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Lowery enjoys watching movies, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is newly remarried and a proud mom to two daughters, three bonus sons, and a golden doodle.


 
Dr. Sandra Nairooz

Dr. Sandra Nairooz

Dr. Nairooz was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt where she received a bachelor’s degree in dental surgery from Ain Shams University. After moving to the United States, she attended SUNY at Buffalo school of dental medicine and received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2013. She later completed a one-year internship in Orthodontics at UT health San Antonio.

Upon completing the program, she started her dental career in San Antonio where she practiced for over 5 years before completing her Orthodontics residency program at Jacksonville university and becoming a board-certified orthodontist. Dr. Sandra also is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Board of Orthodontics, American Lingual Orthodontic Association, American academy of Facial Esthetics, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, San Antonio District Dental Society.

Dr. Akshay Thusu

Dr. Akshay Thusu

Realizing his counting skills capped at 32, Akshay Thusu pursued dentistry, earning his undergraduate degree from UTSA in 2010 and graduating with distinction from UTHSCSA in 2015. Since then, he has worked as an associate dentist in various settings across San Antonio, including Medicaid, HMO/Medicare, and PPO/Fee-for-Service practices.

Currently, Akshay practices at Advanced Smile Care, specializing in IV sedation, guided implants, Invisalign, All-On-X conversions, and LASER dentistry.

Committed to community service, he provides free dental care at events like Smiles for Hope Clinic and Texas Mission of Mercy. He’s also active in the ADA and AGD, holding leadership roles and earning Fellowships from the Academy of General Dentistry, Pierre Fauchard Academy, and International College of Dentists.

In his free time, Akshay enjoys hiking, biking, and basketball.
