Making a Difference through Organized Dentistry
Founded 1913, the San Antonio District Dental Society draws its membership from Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Edwards, Frio, Kendall, Kinney, Maverick, Medina, Real, Uvalde, Val Verde, Wilson, and Zavala Counties.
The American Dental Association (ADA), the Texas Dental Association (TDA), and the San Antonio District Dental Society (SADDS) serve to promote the art and science of dentistry, educate the public on oral health issues, and support the profession of dentistry. This support, which comes in the form of information and protection, has made a world of difference in the dental community.
Information is crucial to the practice of dentistry. From research on new materials and techniques to the latest OSHA guidelines, organized dentistry is an invaluable resource for staying informed.
Organized dentistry has also proven to be a powerhouse as an advocate for the dental profession; it has successfully defended the rights of dentists against unfair legislation and against unfair policies used by insurance companies.
This progress has benefited the entire dental profession but imagine how much more we could accomplish with you on our team. Your support WILL make a difference.
