Minimally Invasive Periodontal Therapy: Patient-Centered Practice Satisfaction with the Periodontal Endoscope    Edwardo R. Lorenzana, DDS, MS

Overview

Periodontal therapy has traditionally relied on scaling and root planing, followed by surgical intervention when nonsurgical treatment does not achieve the desired results. Periodontal endoscopy offers clinicians another option by providing direct visualization of the subgingival environment, allowing for more precise treatment while maintaining a minimally invasive approach.
